Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been indefinitely suspended by the NFL for his role in the domestic violence incident involving his wife.

Elliot was arrested on Friday and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after his wife, Crystal, reported the incident to police.

Elliot’s lawyer, Michael Adkins, told ESPN on Sunday that Elliott’s suspension has been lifted.

Adkins said that Elliott was suspended for a week and that he was allowed to return to the team’s facility on Saturday to meet with trainers.

Adkins also told ESPN that Elliott has no plans to play Sunday in Dallas.

Elliott is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and was named the NFL’s defensive player of the year in 2016.

Elliott’s legal team has requested that he be allowed to remain with the Cowboys, but the league has said it cannot do so.

The Cowboys will play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round.

The Dallas Cowboys will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs.

Elliott’s suspension is the latest setback for the Dallas Cowboys.

The franchise has been rocked by injuries, and a late-season collapse that resulted in a 3-14 season has been overshadowed by the domestic abuse case.

Elliott was expected to make his NFL debut on Sunday.

Dallas is 1-2 this season, and the Cowboys have lost five of their last six games.
